The interaction between the bottom foundation and the soil is modelled with a set of spring-damper forces attached to a main body. This can be used for different soil conditions like a pile in the sand or different concepts with nonlinear soil-springs according to DNV (Det Norske Veritas). It is also possible to implement body forces from any other sources through external DDL´s.
